Advocacy

The MLTA Legislative and Judicial Committee is responsible for monitoring legislative and judicial matters that affect MLTA members. The Committee evaluates legislation to determine whether MLTA will support or oppose the proposed bills. Any legislation proposed by MLTA originates from the Committee before it is sent to the Board of Directors for approval. The Committee also coordinates lobbying efforts in conjunction with Arnold and Associates. Committee members also read and review pertinent case law that impacts our industry and makes recommendations on what action MLTA should take.

MLTA accepts donations to their PAC account through PayPal and checks. You can make a donation via PayPal by clicking the button below or mailing a check made out to MO Land Title PAC to 240 E High Street Suite 100, Jefferson City, MO 65101.

Any LLC that donates to the PAC must register their LLC with the MEC (Missouri Ethics Commission) on their website.  If your LLC is not registered with the MEC, our PAC is not permitted to accept your contribution.  To register your LLC, please go to this website – https://mec.mo.gov/LLC/Registration
