Retirement Announcement

Dear MLTA Membership,

With both delight for her but sadness for us, I am writing to share that Pamela S. Hart will be retiring from Missouri Land Title Association effective no later than December 31st of this year.

Pam has been an essential fixture in our trade for nearly 50 years. Pam began her career in the title industry in 1972 when she went to work for Jefferson County Abstract Company in Hillsboro, Missouri.

After moving to the Farmington area, Pam went to work for Milt and Phyllis Schnebelen at St. Francois County Abstract Company in 1973.  While working for St. Francois County Abstract Company, she became involved with the Missouri Land Title Association.  Pam received the MLTA Young Title Person of the Year award in 1984-1985, received the MLTA Title Person of the Year award in 1992, and served as MLTA President in 1997-1998.  She then accepted her current position of Executive Director of the Missouri Land Title Association on January 1, 2004.

Pam’s positive attitude and organizational skills have made her nearly indispensable to our association.  We are indebted to her vision and commitment for propelling us to our present position in the industry and we won’t easily forget how much her career has inspired us all to do our best.

In honor of Pam’s retirement, we’ll be holding a celebration for her at our next opportunity – time and location to be announced. All are invited to share in this celebration.  In the meantime, please extend Pam your good wishes through hand-written cards to:
